BUBBLE WRAP WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED TO BE USED AS WALLPAPER

Crazy, but true! Inventors Al Fielding and Marc Chavannes were working on a design for a textured wallpaper in 1957. They started out by sealing two shower curtains together in such a way that air bubbles would be captured. Needless to say, their idea for wallpaper didn't sell very well. No to be deterred, they then set about finding another use for their product and came up with the idea to use it as greenhouse insulation. That also failed, and it wasn't until another three years passed that a marketer helped the inventors sell their product to IBM as a way to protect their early model computers during shipping. Now about AUD 800 million worth of Bubble Wrap is sold annually.

A RUBIK'S CUBE CAN BE SOLVED IN 20 MOVES OR LESS

All 43,252,003,274,489,850,000 positions or states of a standard Rubik's Cube can be solved in 20 moves or less. Anyone who is serious about solving a Rubik's Cube uses some sort of algorithm or sequence of steps to help them solve the puzzle. Those that can be memorised and used by a human typically require more than forty moves. It turns out though that this number is a bit high, in terms of actually using the most efficient solution for any given position on a standard Rubik's Cube. This was proved in July 2010 by 4 blokes who used 35 years worth of computing time to prove that one only needs a maximum of 20 moves to solve any position.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE UK, ENGLAND AND GB ANYWAY??

The actual name of the sovereign state is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and North Ireland (UK). The United Kingdom is made up of the countries England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The confusion of the terms seems to revolve around the term "country" and the political powers that are perceived based on that word. While the four countries that make up the UK are considered separate in the minds of locals, and in certain sporting events, their powers for local law and control are devolved from the UK. The term "Great Britain" refers to the land mass that comprises England, Scotland and Wales.

So in summary:
Great Britain = England, Scotland and Wales
UK = England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland
England = Just the part of the island that is England
